RDS Summer Camp

Lawrence Hamnett Soccer Association are again an official host of the New York Red Bulls RDS summer camps. These week long summer camps give players a unique opportunity to experience Red Bulls pre-academy program, without first attending a try out.

Details of this year's camp are as follows:

• Start: Monday, August 16th
• Finish: Friday, August 20th
• Time: 5:00pm to 8:00pm
• Cost: $199
• Location: Village Park, Gordon Ave, Lawrenceville, NJ, 08648

Like last year, each location offers a daily skills challenge. All RDS summer camp participants will test their ability on a range of techniques such as dribbling, passing, control, and shooting, and will be offered an end of week score which ranks them against some of the areas top talents.

At the end of the summer, top scorers from each camp location will be invited to the grand final, to battle it out to earn the title of RDS skills champion. Here, participants will have the opportunity meet, and test themselves against Red Bull first team players.

The summer camps provide the only opportunity to experience the RDS curriculum without first attending a try-out. However, due to the advanced nature of the course content, we recommend that all applicants are an experienced travel player, with a good existing skill base.

As always, these week long camps feature:

• 5 days of supplementary individual training for competitive and advanced boys and girls aged 8 - 14.
• Advanced curriculum focusing on individual technique and ball mastery.
• Strict 1:12 coaching ratio ensuring maximum coach-player interaction.
• Top level, internationally qualified coaches, hand picked from the NY Red Bulls’ training staff.
• All participants will receive a comprehensive end of week evaluation.
• Adidas ball and t-shirt for all participants.
• Top players will earn the opportunity to try-out for the one-off showcase tournament teams, and represent the Red Bulls with the RDS' other top players.
• Players who truly excel will be recommended to the Red Bulls Academy, and will have the opportunity to work towards a career as a professional soccer player.
