Fall 2026-Spring 2027 Competitive Program

Our travel teams play in Central Jersey Leagues during the fall and spring and participate in local tournaments. Some teams also train during the off-season with indoor winter leagues.

Being part of LHSA means that you are also part of the Red Bulls Global Soccer training system and their successful high-level training methods.

Lawrence Hamnett Soccer Association has partnered with the New York Red Bulls to provide elite-level training for all LHSA players. LHSA is proud to be one of the original training partners with the New York Red Bulls (over 18 years now). Our players benefit from the affiliation with the state's best professional soccer team, the New York Red Bulls, and Red Bulls Global Soccer. Not only do the New York Red Bulls have one of the most highly regarded Academy Programs in the United States, but they are also part of Red Bulls Global Soccer with highly successful teams in Germany's Bundesliga 1st Division (RB Leipzig) and Austria's Bundesliga 1st Division (FC Red Bull Salzburg) both of whom reached Europe's prestigious Champions League and Europa League over the past two seasons.

Lawrence Hamnett Travel Tryouts
Fall 2026 - Spring 2027 Season

All interested players must register above for Tryouts.  (registration is free and is used to generate a database of the travel players pool)

Day/Time: Weeks of 20April and 27April, Mon-Thur (see table below)
Location:  Village Park (Yeger side)

NOTE—NJYS has changed the age group designations for the upcoming season. Players will no longer be organized by calendar birth year. Instead, they have gone back to an ‘academic year’ age structure, as per the table below. You can find more info here:

This will cause some confusion and potential shuffling of players/teams. We will work closely with our RedBulls trainers/evaluators to ensure that players are placed appropriately based on ability.

Players new to our travel program should go to the age-appropriate birth year session as per the following breakdown below.  
All currently rostered players on current travel teams should go to their regular training sessions for Spring 2026 season.
