Winter Technical Training




It’s time to start planning for winter training that will keep our players sharp and help elevate their skills to the next level. Lawrence Hamnett is pleased to announce our 14th Winter Technical Training Program, once again run by the NY Red Bulls, taking place January 4, 2026 through March1, 2026.

Training sessions will be held every Sunday morning inside the basketball gym at Mercer County Community College. This program is designed to support the technical development of both recreational and travel players, with focused instruction on passing, receiving, dribbling, turning, shooting, and small-sided games. The goal is to promote growth and skill development that leads to more confident, technically capable players.

Registration spots are limited in order to maintain an optimal participant-to-trainer ratio and provide more personalized coaching. Be sure to register early to secure your spot!


WHO:  Boys and Girls with Birth Years Between 2021 to 2011
WHAT:  All recreational and travel players looking to improve their technical soccer skills
WHERE:  Mercer County Community College Basketball Gym
WHEN:  Sunday January 4, 2026 to March 1, 2026

TIMES:

Session 1: 9:15 am to 10:15 am for Coed birth years 2018 thru 2021
Session 2: 10:15 am to 11:15 am for Coed birth years 2016 thru 2017
Session 3: 11:15 am to 12:15 am for Coed birth years 2014 thru 2015
Session 4: 12:15 am to 1:15 pm for Coed birth years 2011 thru 2013


COST:  $150

Players will need:
-  Sneakers or indoor shoes with rubber soles are only permitted in the gym.  Soccer cleats are not permitted.
-  Shin guards
-  Soccer ball
-  Water/something to drink

LHSA 2026 Winter Technical Training

Lawrence Hamnett will host a Winter Technical Training Program organized by the NY Red Bulls from January 4, 2026, to March 1, 2026. The sessions will take place inside the basketball gym at Mercer County Community College. This program is designed for the technical skill development of our recreational and travel players. Specialized training will concentrate on skills such as dribbling, turning, and passing. The goal of these sessions is to focus on skill enhancement rather than playing games.

The program is for Boys and Girls with Birth Years Between 2021and 2011
Times:
Session 1: 9:15 am to 10:15 am for Coed birth years 2018 thru 2021
Session 2: 10:15 am to 11:15 am for Coed birth years 2016 thru 2017
Session 3: 11:15 am to 12:15 am for Coed birth years 2014 thru 2015
Session 4: 12:15 am to 1:15 pm for Coed birth years 2011 thru 2013
