Fall Recreation 2025

Fall Program 2025

Our 2025 Fall Recreation Program is open to all boys and girls born between 09/1/2011 and 12/31/2022 (regardless if you live in Lawrence or not).

Our Friday Night Red Bull Training is now being changed to be Monday thru Friday in order to make the trainer to player ratio smaller and get better instruction. Our NY Red Bull trainers will be training kids with drills and playing small sided games to evolve their skills. This is still OPTIONAL to attend.

Younger than Middle School Aged Boys and Girls

Saturday Games - All games take place on Saturday mornings at the Armory fields off Eggerts Crossing Road or across the street behind Lawrence Intermediate School, beginning in early April through early June. Our focus will be on skill development. Younger age groups will continue to use the "Play Train Play" methodology where they play a 3v3 game, then a training session and followed by another 3v3 game. For our older kids, we will have just games. We need parent/volunteer assistant coaches for ALL ages to help keep things rolling.

Middle School Aged Boys and Girls

We will be teaming up with Hopewell again this season for our middle school aged boys teams for both boys and girls. Games will be played on Saturday's or Sunday's (TBD, still working out the times but mid day) this season either in Lawrence or at Hopewell (games in Hopewell are usually on the border of Lawrence).

This year we will may limit the number of registrations depending on the volume of kids in each age group as well as the number of volunteers. It will be a first come, first serve basis. If you do go to the wait list, do not worry, I will open up more spots, I am just looking to ensure we have balance amongst the age groups.

COST:

The cost for this program will be $120 per player and we have a $10 discount for each sibling registered.

Late fee of $10 for registering after the registration end date of August 10th.

EQUIPMENT:

Players are required to wear a shirt, shorts, socks, cleats and shin guards. The registration fee for the fall program includes a team jersey as well as shorts and socks. You are also requested to bring your own soccer ball. Size 3 balls are used for all players 4 and younger. Size 4 for all players age 5 to 12. The standard size 5 balls are for ages 13 and over.

Red Bull Training starts on Tuesday September 2nd

Weekend Games start on Saturday September 6th

Last Day is November 1st

Financial Assistance

It is the philosophy of the Lawrence Hamnett Soccer Association that no child should be denied the opportunity to participate in the Recreation program as a result of financial hardship that makes it difficult to pay the club dues.

Coach Registration

Recreation Adult Member Passes (i.e. Recreation Coaches)

All adults applying for a travel member pass (i.e. travel coach pass) must submit NJYS approved compliance documents in their Sports Connect account for verification (if not previously verified). See the compliance requirements below:

Coaching Education (Preferred by LHSA)
Concussion Education (No Expiration Date)
SafeSport Training (Annual Requirement)

All adults applying for a travel member pass (i.e. travel coach pass) must also submit and clear a background check with NJ Youth Soccer.
