Spring Recreation 2026

Registration opens February 1, 2026!

Spring Program 2026

Our 2026 Spring Recreation Program is open to all boys and girls born between 8/1/2011 and 12/31/2022 (regardless if you live in Lawrence or not).

Week Night Red Bull Training: Our Red Bull Training is a week night program during the week (Monday thru Friday) depending on age group. This helps keep our trainer to player ratio smaller and get better instruction. Our NY Red Bull trainers will be training kids with drills and playing small sided games to evolve their skills. This is still OPTIONAL to attend.

Younger than Middle School Aged Boys and Girls

Saturday Games - All games take place on Saturday mornings at the Armory fields off Eggerts Crossing Road or across the street behind Lawrence Intermediate School, beginning in early April through early June. Our focus will be on skill development. Younger age groups will continue to use the "Play Train Play" methodology where they play a 3v3 game, then a training session and followed by another 3v3 game. For our older kids, we will have just games. We need parent/volunteer assistant coaches for ALL ages to help keep things rolling.

Middle School Aged Boys and Girls

We will be teaming up with Hopewell again this season for our middle school aged boys teams for both boys and girls. Games will be played on Sunday's (still working out the times but late afternoon) this season either in Lawrence or at Hopewell (games in Hopewell are usually on the border of Lawrence).

This year we will may limit the number of registrations depending on the volume of kids in each age group as well as the number of volunteers. It will be a first come, first serve basis. If you do go to the wait list, do not worry, I will open up more spots, I am just looking to ensure we have balance amongst the age groups.

COST:

The cost for this program will be $120 per player and we have a $10 discount for each sibling registered.

DATES:

Red Bull Training starts on Monday April 6th

Weekend Games start on Saturday April 11th

No soccer Memorial Day Weekend (Saturday May 23rd, Sunday May 24th, Monday May 25th)

Last Day is June 7th

EQUIPMENT:

Players are required to wear a shirt, shorts, socks, cleats and shin guards. The registration fee for the fall program includes a team jersey only, you will be required to have your own shorts and socks. Any equipment included in the registration fee will typically be distributed on opening day. You are also requested to bring your own soccer ball.

Size 3 balls are used for all players born in 2021 or 2022.

Size 4 ball are for players born in 2020, 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015,.

All players born in 2014 and older use a size 5 ball.
