Boys/Girls born between 2007-2016

Our travel teams play in MOSA and EDP leagues during the fall and spring and participate in local tournaments. Some teams also train during the off-season with indoor winter leagues.

Being part of LHSA means that you are also part of the Red Bulls Global Soccer training system and its successful high-level training methods.

Lawrence Hamnett Soccer Association has partnered with the New York Red Bulls to provide elite-level training for all LHSA players. LHSA is proud to be one of the original training partners with the New York Red Bulls (over 16 years now). Our players benefit from the affiliation with the state's best professional soccer team, the New York Red Bulls, and Red Bulls Global Soccer. Not only do the New York Red Bulls have one of the most highly regarded Academy Programs in the United States, but they are also part of Red Bulls Global Soccer with highly successful teams in Germany's Bundesliga 1st Division (RB Leipzig) and Austria's Bundesliga 1st Division (FC Red Bull Salzburg) both of whom reached Europe's prestigious Champions League and Europa League over the past few seasons.

COMPETITIVE TEAM TRYOUT SCHEDULE




The Lawrence Hamnett Tryout ID Sessions will conduct tryouts for travel/competitive soccer teams for the Fall 2023-Spring 2024 season. Tryouts are planned for the week of April 17 and will run through the week of April 24.  We encourage any interested Boys/Girls born between  2007-2016 to participate.

  • WHAT TO BRING: Each players are asked to bring a dark AND light shirt, soccer ball, water, cleats and shin guards.

  •  CHECK-IN PROCESS: We ask that players arrive 15 minutes early so we can do the necessary check-in and registration confirmation.

Founded in 1957, LHSA is a player development club with a deep history in Mercer County. It is a long-standing partner club with the NY Red Bulls with all teams getting weekly professional training.

LHSA competes in the Monmouth Ocean Soccer Association (MOSA) for league play with 2014B and the 2013B teams finishing the Fall 2022 season as flight winners. Also the 2012 Boys team were MOSA Fall Cup champions for their age group.  LHSA Teams also compete in tournaments across the region (NJ & PA).

LHSA also has a deep history and interaction with NJYS’s Olympic Development Program (ODP), placing as many as 20 boys and girls players on the NJ state teams.
