For All Ages - Friday Night Red Bull Training
Friday Night Red Bull Training - On Friday nights, our NY Red Bull trainers will be training kids with drills and playing small sided games to evolve their skills. Location is TBD but will most likely take place at Zimmer Field in Lawrence (Central Park).
Younger than Middle School Aged
Saturday Games - All games take place on Saturday mornings at the Armory fields off Eggerts Crossing Road or across the street behind Lawrence Intermediate School, beginning in early September through the middle of November. Our focus will be on skill development. Younger age groups will continue to use the "Play Train Play" methodology where they play a 3v3 game, then a training session and followed by another 3v3 game. For our older kids, we will have just games. We need parent/volunteer assistant coaches for ALL ages to help keep things rolling. If you volunteer as a coach and complete the season with your assigned team (showing up each week, coaching the kids, ensuring they have fun), you will be refunded 50% of the fees paid for your child's registration that you coached when the season completes.
Middle School Aged
We will be teaming up with Hopewell again this season for our middle school aged boys teams for both boys and girls. Games will be played on Saturday's this season either in Lawrence or at Hopewell.
?High School Aged
We are working to have an opportunity for those in high school to play as well. From a girls perspective, we will be creating a combined team with Hopewell to compete in ICL which plays games against other local towns. These games can be scheduled during the week at night or on the weekend. It all depends on the schedule which comes out the week before the season starts. I am looking at options for the boys as well. This is TBD for now and we can refund you if we do not have a program for the high school aged boys.
This year we will may limit the number of registrations depending on the volume of kids in each age group as well as the number of volunteers. It will be a first come, first serve basis. If you do go to the wait-list, do not worry, I will open up more spots, I am just looking to ensure we have balance amongst the age groups.
